Cebu Center for Ignatian Spirituality – Jesuit Retreat House (CCIS-JRH) is a sacred space for prayer and reflection, with retreat and formation programs anchored on the Gospels and Ignatian Spirituality. Located along Good Shepherd Road in Banawa Hills, Cebu City. We offer a peaceful environment for spiritual retreats, recollections, and personal reflection. Our retreat house caters to individuals and groups seeking spiritual growth and renewal.
The retreat center can accommodate up to a maximum of 170 persons. For sessions however, our biggest function hall can accommodate up to 100 persons only.
Our buildings are built to be easily accessible to persons with various needs, including mobility. We have step-free access to various parts of the building, as well as an elevator for visitors to make their way up and down the levels.

CCIS-JRH has a total of 169 beds spread across various room types, including private rooms, twin-sharing rooms, family rooms (up to 6 people), and dormitories (up to 26 people) to suit your needs:

Each room provides essential comforts, including:

- Complimentary bed linens, bath towels and toilet paper are provided.
Please bring your own personal toiletries. Due to our location, convenience stores are not within immediate walking distance.

For special diets or restrictions, please advise the front desk before checking in at the retreat house to give the kitchen enough time to prepare.
Retreatants are not allowed in our kitchen to prepare your own meal. However, we can provide you with a microwave oven and a fridge so you can store and reheat your food if needed.

MASS SCHEDULES
- Daily Masses: While we don’t hold daily masses at the retreat house, our neighbors—the Good Shepherd Sisters— welcome our retreatants to join them for morning masses at 7:00 AM.
- Sunday Mass: 9:00 AM
Rates and Policies
Here’s our rates as of August 2024. Please contact our admin office to confirm rates and availability.
Room Rates
- Single occupancy: 2,300/night
- Twin sharing: 2,000/person/night
- Family room (3-6 persons): 1,800/person/night
- Dormitory (13-26 persons): 1,600/person/night
- Day visit (no overnight stay): 1,000/person

Booking Process and Confirmation
- Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a thirty percent (30%) down payment. The full payment must be settled upon check-out.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the guest once the payment is processed.
- For group reservations, please contact us directly to discuss availability, pricing, and specific group needs.
- Special requests and additional accommodations must be discussed prior to booking.
- We accept Cash and Bank Transfer payments for reservations.

Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations, please contact us to discuss possible alternatives.
- Cancellation of booking must be done at least two (2) weeks before the reserved dates.
- The down payment is non-refundable but may be rescheduled to an alternative date depending on the availability of the retreat house. New booking dates must be availed within the next six (6) months from the cancellation date.
Check-In and Check-Out Time
- The earliest check-in time is 10am
- The latest check-out time is 2pm
Retreat Programs
While CCIS-JRH does not directly organize retreats, we can set our retreatants up with a guide who can offer some direction. Also, we strive to support your spiritual journey in the following ways:
- Hosting Your Retreat: We welcome groups to bring their own retreat directors and priests
- Priest Availability: If priest visitors are present during your stay, we will let you know but please inquire before checking in. They may be available to offer points for meditation, assist with confessions, or preside over liturgies.
